Cargo type bulk carriers

Bulk carriers are flexible vessels and are designed to be able to carry all types of different goods. The load can vary between wood, steel products, grains or basically anything that can be lifted on the vessel.

Some vessels can load and unload their own cargo with cranes, whereas others are dependent on equipment in the ports.

A range of different products are used on bulk carriers depending on the load. Some examples include timber lashings, deck lashings, lifting slings, dunnage bags, wood dunnage, schackles etc.
